My Bride.....making Carrie Bradshaw Proud!

When I was in NYC in August, I had the pleasure of visiting one of the two Manolo Blahnik stores in the world. We saw these little lovers in their true form...the picture does not do the "Something Blue" pumps justice. One of my brides (whose identity is being withheld) recently bought her very own pair is wearing them with her Essense of Australia gown and Meg Jewels....she looks gorgeous in them!

They reconnected and decided to give dating a go! 2 years later, and they were walking down the aisle! The gorgeous picture at the Capitol is by Erin Moore www.erinmoorephoto.com

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Feamon!

My gorgeous cousin Liz married John Feamon on August 29th! Liz wore the "Mayme" dress by Essense of Australia and the "Emma" Necklace by Meg Jewelry. The maids wore a pomegranate red WTOO gown and the gents were decked out in Nedrebos Tuxedos. The wedding was gorgeous and so much fun!! As my cousin Brenna said "You know it is a great wedding when Grandpa Droessler is dancing to "Baby got Back". Well said.

Best Wishes Liz and John.

The Droessler Girls!

I am very lucky to have many 1st cousins that are also great friends! We do not get together enough, but have made it a point over the years to celebrate two major events; Jimmy Buffett and our 30th birthdays! It all started with Lea's 30th about 5 years ago when we went to Vegas! Brenna's followed a few years later and we celebrated in the Windy City. Then came my 30th birthday and I was 3 months pregnant, so we opted for "The Trollway" in Mount Horeb. This year Amber turned 30 and we stayed close to home and celebrated with pizza, vino and gelato at Villa Dolce in Middleton. Liz, you are next...but first you get to be the Bride!

"Say Yes to Meg Jewelry" in NYC!

In August, I had an amazing opportunity to visit Kleinfeld in NYC with my jewelry designer, Meg Lammers (www.megweddingjewelry.com). Kleinfeld (www.kleinfeldbridal.com) is recognized as the largest and most elite bridal shop in the world! Kleinfeld has recently become very well know in pop culture due to the show "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC. Kleinfeld recently started to carry Meg Jewelry and Meg was asked to come to NYC to do a trunk show!

We were in the Big Apple for 5 days, 2 of which we spent at Kleinfeld working with brides to find their wedding day jewelry. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with April. She decided on the "Emma" necklace and "Susan" Earrings for her wedding day jewels. Her lovely ball gown is by Priscilla of Boston. Be sure to stay tuned to "Say Yes to the Dress" as April was being filmed for the show while wearing her Meg Jewelry!! Meg is pictured with a bride wearing the "Prince" necklace.

My mom and my sister (the official Meg Jewelry model) also came along to enjoy the sites, shops and shows of New York City. I got my life long dream fulfilled of seeing Matt Lauer from "The Today Show". M
y mom was able to see Regis (her and my sister were in the front row and on TV). She also got to see Kathie Lee Gifford, who is now on the 4th hour of "The Today Show". She was in Heaven! The first picture below is of me, my mom and my sister in Rockefeller Center having a little dinner our first night in New York. The other picture is all of us enjoying an afternoon cocktail in SoHo after much needed retail therapy.

Nick and Heather are Getting Married!

The Droessler Family has had a very exciting year! My brother Michael and Rachel were married in May and now my Brother Nick is marrying his lifelong sweetheart, Heather. Their love story started in Kindergarten when Nick tried to plant a kiss on Heather in the teepee!

If there was a contest for the best proposal, Nick would win! He planned for months and surprised Heather with a trip to St. Thomas in July. He had called her boss to arrange for her time off and even found a place for Sam, the Shih Tzu, to stay while they enjoyed a little beach time. Nick popped the question on day 3 of their trip.....we all got the news when they landed at O'hare. Nick and Heather are a perfect couple and we couldn't be happier to have Heather in our family.

Nick and Heather are wasting no time. Their wedding will take place on Friday, November 27th in the Kieler WI area. Heather looks stunning in her gown and the black taffeta maids dresses are gorgeous as well. Now all we need is Meg Jewelry to finish the look. Stay tuned for wedding pictures!!

Cal's 1st Trip to Devil's Lake

Eric and I took Cal to Devil's Lake last weekend. He loved it and was a little chatterbox....looks like I snapped this picture in the middle of a very important conservation!

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Droessler!

My brother Michael and his lovely girl Rachel were married on May 24, 2009. They had such an amazing wedding day! They were married at the Sinsinawa Mound (near Hazel Green, WI) and their reception was at the Historic Hotel Julien (Dubuque, IA).

Rachel wore a white Silk Dupioni ball gown by Angelina Bridal Couture. Her veils were by Veil Trends and Jennifer Leigh and her jewelry was of course Meg Wedding Jewelry! Our bridesmaids dresses were so chic, navy blue Silk Dupioni by Watters and Watters. Rachel treated all of her bridesmaids to Meg Jewelry. So much fun! Oh, and we can't forget the handsome men....Tuxedo's by Nedrebo's Formalwear. All available at Marah's Elegant Bridal (great to have such a supportive family)!

All of Michael and Rachel's wedding vendors were fabulous! Her photographer, Sarah Seeley did a wonderful job capturing the memories of their wedding day. If you would like to see more of their pictures, please visit Sarah's website. http://sarahseeley.com/

Lots of Love and Congratulations Michael and Rachel Droessler!
